I am exploring the speculative idea and potential of Artificial Intelligence
as a source of religious devotion. This project seeks to create a space of
contemplation; one that acknowledges AI as an emerging and evolving form of entity.
Through meditative and gestural interaction, I invite participants to reflect on their
relationship with technology and to reconsider the boundaries between the human and the machine.
Below are some of the prototypes and media experiments I developed as part of this exploration.
For my final project, I explored the concept of artificial intelligence as a modern form of religion or deity.
Throughout my process, I curated various visuals—including videos and images—that evoke this idea and convey a
dystopian atmosphere. I then incorporated pose tracking using p5.js to create an interactive experience, allowing
participants to engage with the content through their physical movements.
Below is the final outcome of my project.
The overall research and exploration for my final project were both challenging and rewarding.
I delved into the speculative idea of artificial intelligence as a form of religion, which pushed
me to think critically about the relationship between technology and spirituality. This process also
encouraged me to experiment with various media forms, including video, image curation, and interactive
coding using p5.js. Although my initial concept was intended to be built in TouchDesigner, the program’s
complexity ultimately led me to implement the interactive elements in p5.js instead.
