Christopher Kuo is a news associate at The Wall Street Journal. He was previously a reporting fellow at the New York Times, where he wrote arts and culture features and covered the business of entertainment. He has interned at the Tampa Bay Times and the Los Angeles Times, covering local news that ranged from wildfires and crime to city politics and legal disputes. Christopher received a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Limerick in Ireland as a George J. Mitchell Scholar. His reporting on the changing role of the Catholic Church in Ireland earned an Overseas Press Club Foundation Scholar Award. He completed his bachelor’s at Duke University, where he studied English and political science and edited several student publications. He speaks Mandarin.
